There is a maximum number of six people including babies and children allowed at Hut 254 and Hut 271. This includes all members of your group whether in or out of the hut. These numbers must not be exceeded. We reserve the right to terminate your day if the number of people at the hut exceeds the maximum stated and refuse any future bookings made. Mabel hut is bookable by anyone however does contain the beach wheelchair and matting.
If you book or use the beach wheelchair matting, ramp or wheelchair you do so at your own risk. Please ensure that these are suitable for your needs before use. No liability is accepted for any loss, damage, sickness or injury to the guest or any member of the party, or invited person.
The huts are not suitable for adult or children’s parties.
Behaviour at The Huts should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive. The person who has made the booking is responsible for the obligations and conditions of hire. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if any member of the party is displaying unreasonable behaviour, causing nuisance to other people or damage to the hut.
Please can we ask that you keep to the boundaries of the beach hut and do not disrupt our neighbours. Hut 254 has a public access to the side – please do not block this.
No music is allowed.
No gazebos are allowed.
No smoking/vaping is permitted in the huts
We visit the huts most days to ensure terms and conditions are being followed – Our hut neighbours also have our phone number and may contact us if conditions are breached
Please pay in full on the website online booking system. We do not accept cheques or cash. Once payment has been made this confirms your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.
Cancellation: If you want to cancel your booking we will charge a £40 admin fee and refund the difference. If the cancellation is less than one week from your booking no refund can be given. The weather is out of our control so if you want to know what the weather is maybe wait and get a short notice booking if one becomes available. To amend a booking free of charge, we require more than 30 days notice please send an email to Ty@Thehutmerseaisland.co.uk. Less than 30 days notice or a further amendments will result in a £40 admin charge.
We reserve the right ourselves to cancel any booking, after giving notice to you, in the event that we are unable to let The Hut for reasons beyond our reasonable control or in circumstances such that we believe the accommodation is unsuitable. In these circumstances, we will offer you another date or if this is not suitable for you, a full refund will be given.

The most up-to-date prices for beach hut hire are shown on our website. Any prices shown are subject to regular review and may change.
Please wash up any used utensils, crockery etc and that take all food and rubbish with you. If we find The Hut have not been used with respect, we have the right to refuse further rentals by any person.
Please tell us about any damages. Small accidents we can sort out, but we must charge for bigger damage and repairs. We also reserve the right to charge for any extra cleaning.
No liability is accepted for any loss, damage, sickness or injury however caused which may be sustained during the time at The Hut, to the guest or any member of the party, or invited persons, or any car or its contents, or any possession of the guest or any member of the party.
We only allow disposable barbeques and these must NOT be lit on the decking area but on the sand away from the hut. We have the right to charge for any damage which occurs to The Hut due to barbeque use.
No dogs allowed in the huts.
Please do not arrive before the arrival time of 10am and leave by 7pm at the latest. No overnight stays allowed. Please note the car park is secured at 8pm sharp.
